February 2008 Maggie and Sparky arrived because of their "mom's" deteriorating health. They had obviously been very loved and cared for. Maggie is described as "the sweetest ferret in the world". According to her family, she is the last one to make trouble, but when she does she makes it count. She loves to stretch out on the floor and be petted on her back and belly. She will let you keep doing that as long as possible. She likes to play with soft balls by putting them under her belly and pulling them along. She also likes sweatshirts, pants and plastic tubes. She has a listed birth date of March 3, 2003. Maggie has never nipped. Sparky entered this family after she was found in a garage with two large German Shepherds. She was eating dog food at the time-she arrived eating Kitten Chow and we have transition her to ferret food. She won't cuddle, but will play in the bath tub if you let her. She actually seems to like having a bath, unlike her sisters! She also enjoys sweatshirts, old pants and playing in plastic grocery bags. She has done some nipping in the past. She was probably born late in 2002. Vet checks and distemper shots done on 8/30/07 (AMC). Bert arrived following the death of his cage mate. He was originally "rescued" from a pet store and had been a "biter" ever since. He had been targeting the child in the household. We have not noticed any biting behavior here, although he did do some "nervous nipping" at first. We have not seen any of this nipping behavior for some time at FVF, in fact, he occasionally gives kisses. He should be just fine in a home with another ferret or two, and an adult who will understand his issues. He is still very anxious around children and MUST be placed in a home without any. Based on the condition of his teeth, he was likely born early in 2002. Vet check and distemper done on 6/28/07 (AMC). Lucky and Cocoa
are both sweet ferrets who were surrendered when their owner had some lifestyle changes. According to reports, Lucky was unaltered and had given birth about a year ago (shortly before this person got them). Our vet found that Lucky was spayed, but had an adrenal tumor, which was removed on 1/8/08 (LS). Lucky takes a bit to get going, but she does play and war dance once she "wakes up". Based on the condition of her teeth, she was probably born late in 2002 or early in 2003. Cocoa is a tiny little thing and very playful. She is a fantastic war dancer and gets Lucky going. She was probably born late in 2004 or early in 2005. Vet check and distempers done on 12/28/07 (AMC).
Cyd arrived with her sister and was adopted with her; however, Cyd's nipping behavior worsened to the point where she was drawing blood. She was returned to FVF and a new ferret was adopted to keep
her sister company. Cyd is a big girl, with a light sable coat. She was probably born March or April of 2006. She is VERY playful and will sometimes nip when excited or trying to get attention. Cyd is a high
energy girl who will want lots of active playtime. Vet check and distemper shots were done on 2/14/07. Baby arrived with seven other ferrets as the result of a divorce. Two of the ferrets went
to the bridge, four have been adopted, and Belle is still waiting for the right home. Baby is very sweet and loves his people. He was sometimes aggressive with two of the other males in the group. He was probably
born early to mid 2003. Vet check and distemper done on 12/14/07 (AMC). Sassy Girl
has a lot to say about everything. She is very active and high energy. The person who brought her to FVF did not feel he was able to care for her after she was abandoned by her owner. He did not know much about her, but did know she has not nipped since she was a kit, she has not been with kids or other animals, and she is approx 2 ½ (which means she was born mid 2005). She is thinner than we would like, although that may just be her body type. She also appears to have recently blown her coat. She arrived eating Marshall's food, but has adapted to the FVF shelter mix. She has been introduced to other ferrets and enjoys having other ferrets to play with. She would like a home with another high energy ferret to play with. Vet check and distemper done on 12/21/07 (NH).
Kovu and Taz are
such extremely high energy ferrets, it is difficult to believe they are four years old. They were surrendered when their owner moved into a home where pets are not allowed. Kovu is very busy and needs to see
everything right now! He will check back with his person from time to time, just to see if you are up to anything interesting. He will allow himself to be held for a moment or two before he is off and running
again. His size is also impressive-he is one of the most solid ferrets we have had in a long time. Taz is a wired weasel. When put in the ferret playpen he grabs the center bar with his front feet and "hops" his
way around the cage. He is very playful and enjoys wrestling with his brother and playing chase games with his person. These ferrets had reportedly lived in a home where daycare was being done, however, we have noted
that Taz will occasionally nip when he wants to be put down. Both are reported as "4" which would mean they were likely born late in 2003. The condition of their teeth seem to support this, although we know they were
not feed a great diet prior to arrival at FVF, so they may
be slightly younger. Vet check and distemper done on 12/14/07 (AMC). Kovu had a punch biopsy on 12/31/07 (LS) to check a thickening in his ear after a needle biopsy during his initial vet check showed suspicious cells-the biopsy came back clear-our vet believes it is a birth defect. Taz underwent surgery on 1/30/08 (LS) to remove a basal cell tumor from his forehead. He is recovering well and is ready to meet perspective adopters.
Tinker
was surrendered because the family was expecting their third child (all apparently under 5 or so). She was obviously with small children and had no reported bite history. According to the people surrendering her, they had her for about 4 months. That family got her from the people who had purchased her at the pet shop "about" a year earlier. That would put her birth date approx. Aug of 2006. This corresponds with the condition of her teeth. Vet check and distemper done on 2/22/08.
Binday arrived via a FVF volunteer family who said she had "inherited" her from someone they knew. They had thought about keeping her but their ferrets turned out to be too rough on Binday,
dragging her around by the ears. She likes other ferrets as well as people, but she will attack your feet if you are wearing socks. Based on her coat and the condition of her teeth, we estimate she was born around May
of 2007. Her vet check and distemper shot was done on 2/22/08. March 2008 Kahlua Rain and Yukon Jack arrived as the result of allergies. Kahlau Rain loves to run and play as much as possible and began
"breaking out" of her cage when her owner developed severe allergies and could not let her out. She tolerates cats, but hasn't been exposed to dogs. She doesn't like being up close to anyone's face and will nip at noses
and chins. She was born on 9/24/06. Yukon Jack loves to be held and played with. He knows his name and will come when called. He likes to fall asleep on your lap. His favorite game is hide and seek and
he gets very excited when you find him. He thinks cats are big ferrets and plays with them just like he plays with Kahlua. He was born on 6/24/06. Both ferrets like Apple Jacks cereal as a treat-but don't give
them more than a piece or two each day! Both are very good about using the litter pan and haven't had any accidents while at FVF. Vet check and distemper done on 3/12/08 (AMC). Vin and Bueller are very sweet boys who were saved from horrible neglect by a good samaritan who know she would not be able to keep them, but who was not willing to leave them with the person who had simply stopped caring for them (including feeding and watering them). These boys made an amazing recovery during the month they were in her care, and they are now ready for their forever home. While at her home, the boys "claimed" a special toy. They will grab it and hide it in their blankets. They are better about using the litter pan in their cage then they are when out. They have been around a cat and a very young child (while supervised). They have not shown any nipping behavior. Based on the condition of their teeth we are estimating they were born between March and Sept 2006. Vet check and distemper done on 3/12/08 (AMC). Oliver, Baby and Nibbles arrived because of health issues within their owner's family. Oliver is very mellow and gives kisses. He likes to go outside on a leash and being under his blankie. He developed an ulcer at his old home when his owner ran a daycare out of the house. He was treated and removed from the daycare area. He hasn't had anymore problems. Oliver was born 2/19/06. His special buddy is Baby. If all three can't find a home together, Oliver and Baby must stay together. Baby likes belly rubs. He is very playful and especially likes running through tunnels. He will jump up and grab your leg to initiate play. He is okay outside, but doesn't seem to enjoy it the way Oscar does. Baby was born 1/3/07. Nibbles is the only female in the group. She tends to "nibble" on toes and fingers trying to initiate play. Gentle, consistent scruffing should correct this behavior. She enjoys hiding anything she can get. She has never been outside, so it is unknown how she will feel about it. If she can't find a home with her brothers, she needs a home with another young, energetic ferret. She was born on 2/18/07. All three of these ferrets are afraid of the bath tub, have been around cats and puppies, like N-Bone treats (they get treats for going in their cage) and know their names. Vet check and distemper done on 3/6/08 (AMC). Omen
and his (now adopted) brothers arrived as the result of financial hardship. He is active and playful. Omen was reportedly born early in 2003. He gets along well with other ferrets. Vet checks and distemper shots done on 8/3/07. Omen underwent adrenal surgery on 10/4/07 (LS).
Sable (dark) and Diabla were surrendered because of a pregnancy. According to their former owner, Diabla has had some nipping behavior in the past; this was demonstrated at her
vet check when she nipped the shelter mom in the nose. Diabla is outgoing and reportedly will steal anything made of rubber and hide it. She will also follow you around the house and get under your feet if you aren't
paying attention to her. She is almost 100% at using the litter pan. Sable attacks squeaky toys. She will also dig in house plants. According to her former owners she will bite all strangers, but we have not
seen that behavior here at FVF. Sable was reportedly born in Dec 2002; Diabla was born late May of 2004. Her former owner had their distemper and rabies vaccinations done on 5/15/07-Sable had a severe vaccine reaction
to one of the shots. FVF had these girls health checked on 8/16/07 (AMC). Sable was injured early in Oct while in a large cage with 5 other senior ferrets (that cage has been discarded just to be safe). She needed
stitches and other vet care (10/3/07 LS). She recovered nicely and has been reunited with her sister. All they need now is a forever home. Jack and Riley
first arrived at FVF in Oct of 2006 and were quickly adopted. They came back to FVF about a year later when their "new" person graduated from college and was unable to find an apartment she could afford that would allow pets. Both ferrets are very sweet and have no history of biting. Jack has a bean pillow that he absolutely loves. Based on original owner report and the condition of their teeth, Jack was likely born Nov. or Dec 2004. Riley was likely born around June of 2005. Distemper and vet check done on 10/25/08 (AMC). Jack had a lot of tartar on his teeth and had his teeth cleaned on 2/29/08 at North Heights (after his official surrender).
Lea and Beaner Sharkey, Regan and Doc. Linus arrived after his cage mate went to the bridge. Although he is definitely a senior, he is hyper dominant and does not seem to realize how old he is. He seemed to want to be with other ferrets, so we had been trying to find another senior who won't take any of his bullying-unfortunately he tried to beat up every ferret we put with him-even ferrets much younger than he is. We have given up and Linus is only being considered for placement as an "only" to prevent problems.. We are estimating that Linus was born early in 2001. Linus had his vet check and distemper on 5/11/07. Linus is currently being fostered. His foster mother is interested in keeping him until he goes to the bridge-but he has not been officially adopted. April 2008 Holly and Dale
are sweet, playful, young ferrets that each came out of a bad situation within a day of each other. Dale came from a "repeat" hoarder situation. As far as the local authorities knew, the woman only had cats. The day before Easter, they trapped the last cat and were leaving when Dale came out to say "hi". Aside from fleas, he was in good condition and very friendly. He came to FVF the following Tuesday and settled right in. The next evening, FVF received a call from an apartment manager reporting that a family had moved out the previous Friday and had been asking all the neighbors if they wanted a ferret. When no one did, they moved out and left the ferret behind. That day they had come back to pick up mail and had never even checked on Holly. FVF went and got her immediately. Aside from being hungry, she was healthy and active and a great match for Dale. Based on the condition of their teeth, we estimate both ferrets were born June or July of 2007. Vet checks and distemper shots done on 3/31/08 (AMC).
Suzie May 2008 Boots
and her sister (currently unadoptable due to biting) arrived because their owner was moving and could not take them. Boots is a dark sable, probably born late 2004 or early 2005. She is a very sweet tempered snuggler. She is used to being with other ferrets, and should not be considered as an "only". She has been at FVF a full year now, and went for her annual check up and distemper booster on 1/28/08 (LS) at this time she also received a ferretonin implant to address signs of adrenal disease.
Koda and Boomer arrived with Taz and Mini
when their owner had a baby and no longer had time to care for them properly. They would love to stay together if possible. According to their former owner Koda
is vocal and hyper. He likes to push the limits to see what he can get away with. He likes to sneak up and bite your socks or wake you up by crawling under the blankets and biting your feet. He is also the most dominant ferret in the group and will also try to dominate other animals. According to the condition of his teeth, and owner report, he was likely born in spring or summer of 2004.
Boomer
is not as active and he likes to wander off and sleep. He doesn't like cats. He plays with Koda sometimes and likes attention from his people. He does dig. He was likely born in spring or summer of 2005.
Taz and Mini
arrived at the home later after they were found abandoned and "skin and bones". It has been noticed that if the food dish starts to get empty, these two will stop eating-almost as if they are saving the food that is left.
Taz
is very timid and will follow you around all day, almost as if he is afraid of being forgotten. He doesn't play as much as Koda. Taz protects Mini and will only eat after Mini does. Taz was likely born spring or summer of 2004.
Mini is always the first to the food dish. He doesn't stray far from it. He doesn't always eat, but he likes to see that it's there with food in it. He is starting to play and his personality is coming
out. He is a dare devil. He was probably born fall or early winter of 2004. During his physical a "bump" was found on his kidney. The vet believes it may be very early adrenal-or nothing-and recommended
keeping an eye on it but not doing anything at this time. Vet checks and distemper shots done on 4/28/08 (AMC). Kiki and Serena
are very solid girls who love to play with each other and sleep cuddled up. Serena is an albino. She likes to run and chase, as she plays. She doesn't seem very interested in toys, she'd rather play with Kiki. According to her former owner, Serena will scratch at the door when she wants back in her cage to go to the bathroom. They also stated she "has a great personality and likes to kiss". She was likely born Spring of 2005. Kiki is a dark-eyed white. She likes to play and "steals" toys and other items. She will reportedly rattle the cage when she want to come out. According to her former owner, Kiki will scratch at the door to get back in her cage. She is a little reserved when it comes to interactions with people-perhaps due to deafness. Kiki is slightly younger than Serena, and was likely born summer or fall of 2005. Vet check and distemper done on 4/17/08 (AMC)
Iggy is an incredibly sweet boy
who needs a small dose of prednisolone every day for insulinoma. He knows his name and comes when he is called. He is nearly 100% with the litter pan, which is good since his poop is frequently not solid. Iggy
is a kisser who seems happy to get attention from anybody. He is even little kid friendly. Iggy loves the company of the other senior and special needs ferrets. He would be a great match for Nissa or Boots for
people looking for a pair. For those willing to consider a trio, he gets along great with Precious and Trixie. He must not be considered as an "only". Based on the condition of his teeth he was probably born mid
to late 2002. Vet check and distemper done on 4/30/08 (NH). June 2008 Occifer and Burton are extremely active
ferrets that have lived with dogs and cats. They were surrendered because of changes in their old owner's job and lifestyle which meant they were not getting enough attention. They had no reported biting behavior, and
we have not seen any here at FVF. They are very playful however and may "mouth" as part of the play. They are also very vocal, especially when wrestling or weasel war dancing. They have been great about the litter
pan while in their cage. According to records provided with them, Burton was born late July of 2007, Occifer was born early January of 2007. Vet check and distemper done on 5/30/08 (AMC). Sugar arrived with a much older ferret (Cinnamon-see below). They had been taken out of a bad situation about a month before they came to FVF by a woman who knew she couldn't keep them, but who also didn't want to leave them where they were. Sugar is very active and playful. He was very excited when he got into the main ferret room and had other active ferrets to play with. He should not be considered as a single ferret (Sugar and Slinky have really hit it off). He needs to gain a little more weight, but is doing well. According to the person bringing him to me, he was very sweet and showed no tendency to bite. He also got along with the children, cats and dogs in the household. Based on the condition of his teeth, he was likely born spring or early summer of 2007. Vet check and distemper shot done on 5/19/08 (AMC). Slinky originally arrived with a nippy female in Dec of 2007. Because the female was so untrustworthy, they went to a foster home where she could be worked with. In Jan, she and another ferret in the home died unexpectedly and the foster home asked about keeping Slinky. Recently, Slinky has been playing too hard for the other ferrets in the home (all older) and it was decided to try and place him with another "little rowdy". According to the foster family Slinky is an aggressive player with lots of energy. He lasts longer than the usual 30 min or so before bedding down. He is a climber and a jumper. He's VERY loving and friendly. He loves tubes, shakey balls and noisy bags. He loves the water and snow and will submarine any time the opportunity arises. Put an inch or so of water in the tub and he will play for quite a while. He loves chase, "get your butt" and blanket games. He is perfect ferret for first timers that want to really interact with their animals or needs to be paired with another ferret with the same energy level (Sugar and Slinky have really hit it off).. Based on the condition of his teeth and original owner report, Slinky was likely born May-July 2006. He was vet checked and brought up to his distemper on 12/28/07 (AMC). Precious and Trixie
arrived because the owner's mother wanted them "out of the house". They are sweet and active but are classified as senior
ferrets. Trixie is very petite and will do some cuddling before needing to be on the move again. Based on the condition of her teeth, we believe she was born early to mid 2002. Trixie had a broken tooth extracted on 8/13/07 (CV). Precious is tiny (as is Trixie) and very curious. She will sometimes nip when playing. She doesn't like to be held for long as she has important things to do. She is showing signs of early adrenal, and will likely do well with a ferretonin implant (scheduled for 12/21/07). She was probably born late 2002. Vet check and distemper shots done on 7/25/07 (AMC).
Mr. No Name arrived as a stray via the Neenah Animal Welfare Shelter. He is a very calm ferret, but he does get excited and war dances when he is out of his cage for playtime. He has been
introduced to the ferret room, and seems to like some of the older, more mellow ferrets. Vet check and distemper done on 6/19/08 (AMC). Based on the condition of his teeth we believe he was born early in 2004.
July 2008 Chester
is a fat boy who needs a home where he will get plenty of out of cage time and exercise. He was brought to FVF after his owner left him with a friend "for awhile" and never returned for him. During his time here he has been very interested in other ferrets and has been playing with them. He is also happy to explore on his own. He is a good war dancer and likes attention from people. He arrived with a broken, dead canine which was removed on 6/20/08, he also had his vet check and distemper shot done that day (NH). Based on the condition of his teeth, and the report of the person who surrendered him, he was likely born early 2006.
August 2008 Cinnamon (aka Grandpa) arrived with a much younger ferret, now adopted . They had been taken
out of a bad situation about a month before they came to FVF by a woman who knew she couldn't keep them, but who also didn't want to leave them where they were. Cinnamon is a typical senior ferret. He gets up, toodles
around a little, then goes back to sleep. He may be okay as a single ferret, but would also likely do well with another senior ferret. He arrived VERY thin and has been gaining some weight here. FVF believes that
prior to being taken out the bad situation food was not always available and the other ferret may have kept him away from the food. According to the person bringing him to FVF, he was very sweet and showed no tendency to
bite. He also got along with the children, cats and dogs in the household. Based on the condition of his teeth, he was likely born sometime in 2002. Vet check and distemper shot done on 5/19/08 (AMC).
September 2008 Slick and Christine are a nice pair that would be great for a first time ferret owner. They were surrendered because their owner is going into the military. According to their former owner, Slick loves baths and belly rubs. He has shown himself to be very playful and gets along with all the ferrets in the ferret room. He was purchased in Nov 2007, which means he was likely born Sept of 2007. Christine is a petite girl. She reportedly loves playing "hide and seek" and enjoys baths and ear rubs. She was purchased in Mar of 2006, which means she was likely born Jan of 2006. Both of these ferrets have been with very young children-Christine allowed herself to be carried around by a toddler, Slick was more timid with the children but was never aggressive toward them. Vet check and distemper done on 8/21/08 (AMC). Louie arrived via Oshkosh Humane. He was found on a playground thin, dehydrated and with fleas. He was surrounded by a group of children and bit one of them out of fear. He went to OAHS where he was hydrated, feed and treated for fleas. Once he completed his 10 day bite hold he was given a rabies shot and released to FVF. We believe he bites when he is afraid and should not be considered for a home with children . Louie is a sweet ferret and gives kisses. He is litter trained. Based on the condition of his teeth, he was likely born summer of 2007. Vet check and distemper shot done on 8/8/08 (AMC).
October 2008 Little Girl (aka Shorty) and her brother Biggie (went to the bridge 10/5/08)
were surrendered when their owner moved. Little Girl is a very busy ferret. She does a great war dance and chuckles as she dances. According to her former owner, she likes to hide in the couch, attack pillows and
hide socks. Little Girl was showing classic adrenal balding, but without a distended vulva. Our vet has taken a "wait and watch" attitude toward adrenal surgery since her fur does seem to be filling in somewhat and
because there was no distention. According to owner report, Shorty was born spring/summer of 2004. She is good with the litter pan as long as it is kept clean and like cats. Vet check and distemper shots done on
7/18/08 (AMC). Josephine and Timmy are both Kits
looking for a forever home. Josephine arrived with two senior ferrets when her owner made the decision to go back to school and could not find an apartment willing to allow all her pets. Josephine was born in April of 2008. Because she is young, she is still working on litter training, but so far is being pretty good about it in her cage. She is a typical baby, and displays some nipping behavior, especially during play. Vet check done on 8/8/08 (AMC), her distemper was done by her former owner and is good until 3/21/09. Timmy
arrived after being abandoned at an area pet store. He was underweight, lethargic and shy when he arrived and, according to pet store staff, his cage had not been cleaned in sometime. Within five days of
arriving at FVF he had put on significant weight, had energy far more appropriate to his age, and he was enjoying attention from people and other ferrets. Timmy is very sweet and has not done any biting here at FVF.
Even his play nipping is very limited and surprisingly gentle. He is also working on "litter pan". Based on his teeth, he was probably born in March of 2008. Vet check and distemper done on 8/29/08 (AMC).
Alley
is a sweet girl who was surrendered when her owner developed allergies. Alley will nip at your socks, but is not mean about it-she just has the "ferret foot fetish". She has no history of nipping hands. She came in eating cat chow indoor formula, but has been eating Totally Ferret Senior since her arrival here. Alley is very curious but did not adapt to other ferrets. She will need to be the only ferret it the household-although she does get along with cats. According to owner report and her overall body condition, she was likely born spring of 2002, although her teeth would seem to indicate she is younger. Vet check and distemper shot done on 4/28/08 (AMC).
Frankie and Phoebe arrived at FVF after being left behind when their owner moved out of her apartment. They like to play with each other and their person. Based on the condition
of their teeth, we are guessing they were born between June and August 2007. Vet check and distemper shots done on 8/8/08 (AMC). At the vet check it was noted that Phoebe has a fractured tooth. It was
removed on 8/13 (NH). Tinkerbell arrived at FVF after
being found stray in Appleton. The people who found her took care of her for over a week while trying to find her owner. During that time, Tinkerbell played well with the dogs and cats in the home and was carried around
by the children in the household. Here at FVF, Tinkerbell has been a very sweet girl, showing no sign of nipping or biting. Based on the condition of her teeth, we believe she was probably born around April of
2007. Vet check and distemper done on 10/3/08 (AMC). November 2008 Chubs and Milky arrived with their sisters from a home in the Twin Cities. If you have room in your home and heart, Chubs and Milky would love to stay with Kira and Julz. According to owner report, Milky and Chubs had been adopted from a Humane Society and had come from a home together. They need to stay together. Chubs is described as "a little lazy, but a huge sweetie". He likes to cuddle. Milky is a striking ferret, very big and beautiful. He isn't much of a cuddler and would rather be off and running with other ferrets and having active play with his person. He does a good war dance. They like cats, but have never been around dogs. The condition of their teeth and owner report indicate they were likely born around April of 2004. Vet check and distemper done on 10/2/08 (AMC). December 2008 Mimi
was brought to FVF very abruptly by her family. According to the information received, she does not bite and is very nice, although she doesn't like to be held and will not "sit in your pocket" but always wants to be out of the cage. Based on these comments, FVF believes her owners really wanted a pet that would be held and carried around by their children. They also said that she will nip at your toes, but not often (common with a ferret). She likes to play, but poops on the carpet. Mimi has moved in with the other ferrets here at FVF and seems very happy to have others to play with. She would do best in a home with other ferrets. According to owner report, she was born in April of 2004. Her vet check and distemper shot was done on 10/6/08 (AMC).
Chad was found stray in Oshkosh. He was taken to a wildlife rehabber, who surrendered him to FVF. He is a big albino boy with a thick coat. He is litter trained. He sometimes sleeps with other ferrets, but doesn't play with them-he prefers playing on his own with his person and would be content as an only ferret. He is very curious and likes attention. Chad has done some nipping at FVF-typically when he is startled or excited. He has not drawn blood, but has left marks. Consistent correction and being careful to not surprise him his improved this behavior tremendously. Based on the condition of his teeth, he was likely born summer of 2007. Vet check and distemper shot done on 8/8/08 (AMC). Romeo, Squeaker and Zena arrived after their owner became wheelchair bound and could no longer care for them properly. According to her, Romeo loves to steal pop. He will come up behind you and "attack" your feet when he wants to play. He gives the occasional kiss. Squeaker is deaf. He is a great weasel war dancer, and loves to give kisses. Both these boys were likely born between April and Sept 2004. Both had dental cleanings and got their distemper shots on 4/16/08 (NH). Zena arrived nearly bald from adrenal disease. She had adrenal surgery and a dental cleaning on 4/10/08 (LS) and has recovered beautifully. According to her former owner, she is very playful and gives "love bites"-we have noticed she sometimes "chomps" if she is unhappy or not getting her way. Her distemper shot was done on 4/11/08 (LS). Like her brothers, we believe she was born spring or summer of 2004. These three are very bonded and need to stay together. |
